Question:

I've read more passenger vehicle companies are using your microturbines. One of the major costs farmers have is fuel.

Have you considered putting your technology in farm vehicles?

A farmer or co-op of farmers could produce their own fuel if series-electric farm vehicles were available. They could use cheaper batteries.

Answer from Capstone Management:

Yes, Capstone is evaluating options for farm, construction and other off-highway vehicles. These electric vehicles would operate on diesel, biodiesel, biogas or agricultural syngas.

Question:

Why the recent sell off of shares from several officers on Dec 14th?

Answer from Capstone Management:

Shares issued under Capstone’s restricted stock grant program are taxable at the time of vesting.  All of the sales reported on December 14 were for the purpose of covering this tax obligation and did not result in any profit to the sellers.

Question:

What is your current status with DesignLine buses, seeing how their new website does not mention Capstone microturbines and you have dropped it from your solutions?

Answer from Capstone Management:

DesignLine continues to be a critical OEM for Capstone’s C30 and C65 products. DesignLine has over 500 buses in backlog as a result of leveraging Capstone’s products, but DesignLine markets buses instead of power plant solutions.
